ALESTORM / Black Sails at Midnight (2009)

Yaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrr! Your timbers'll be shivered after letting Alestorm into your CD player. It's (comedy?) folk-pirate-metal from the deepest dank depths of Scotland. It sounds exactly like you'd imagine it would: Heavy Metal Pirate Music.
With songs about drinking, sailing, wenching and generally swashing and buckling, they're a guaranteed good time at parties. The more alcohol you consume the more their brand of heavy shanty begins to make sense.

Songs of Note: KeelhauledThat Famous Ol' Spiced

3 Jolly Rogers hoisted out of 5
