THE YOUNG GODS / TV Sky (1992)

TYG will appeal mostly to fans of Industrial and Electronic music. They have a multilingual vocalist, a sampler operator and a drummer - sounds and samples are used like most bands use guitars and bass. The nature of the music means they can tweak stereo effects infinitely and they give the impression of sound flowing from the left to right channel very organically.
TV Sky is their most well-known and, I would say, best album. The twenty minute album closer, Summer Eyes, is my favourite track. I saw them perform it live in a room the size of a bathroom and it was a remarkable experience.

Songs of Note:  Gasoline Man; Skin Flowers

4 really useful drummers out of 5
