THE ALTER BOYS / The Exotic Sounds Of The Alter Boys [2005]

A "supergroup" consisting of members of Polkadot Cadaver, Mushroomhead and Jackass' Ryan Dunn (R.I.P.), The Alter Boys sound like they're stomping through a tropical beach with their own special brand of creepiness and sick humor.
The Exotic Sounds Of The Alter Boys is their only album to date and will probably be the only one ever made. This is a shame as it's a insanely entertaining funky ride that sounds like it could be the perfect companion piece to Mr. Bungle's "Beach boys on acid-esque" California album. It features some hilarious guest appearances by comedian David Koechner, The Bloodhound Gang's Jimmy Pop, Jackass' Johnny Knoxville & Bam Margera with a bizarre Tom Waits' cover to boot.
