ROD STEWART / Every Picture Tells a Story (1971)

Rod has the voice and the lycra leggings that together made women bend at the knees... for various reasons. It's 70s rock of a high calibre, with elements of folk, jazz, blues and soul to please all ears. At times it even sounds like unused Dylan songs (not just the cover song). There's not a single track on this masterpiece that I skip. It's Rod and he rocks, no question, but you knew that already.~
