TV ON THE RADIO / Nine Types Of Light [2011]

After a three year hiatus, soul-rockers TV On The Radio are back and standing in a different type of light than before. Ditching the negative attitude they eminated before, TV On The Radio seems to take a different look on life on Nine Types Of Light. They might be pretty upbeat now but they still fear for the future of the world, just not as hopelessly anymore.
Layered with a breezy ambience over their trademark intricate grooves and comfortable falsetto vocals, Nine Types is a pleasant album to dive into when everything gets a little too gloom and doom.
