THE LEVELLERS / Levelling The Land (1991)

The 2nd album from the Brighton folksters is the first Levellers album I ever heard, and the reason I'm a fan.  Have you ever watched from afar as a group of poncho-clad anti-establishment types enjoyed a sing-a-long session around a camp-fire on a beach, and wished in your heart that you could pull that British made poker out of your ass, leave your reservations behind and join them?  This is the soundtrack to the release of your shitty inhibitions.

Songs of Note: One Way; The Boatman

4 Crusty fiddlers out of 5
