The Swiss Ambient/Industrialists are a hard sell to anyone not already familiar with their working method. They use samples as instruments, with live drums and multilingual vocals. Song structures and complex landscapes wherein atmosphere is all important.
Everybody Knows adds some interesting acoustic guitar alongside the familiar samples and keyboards. They actually got a fourth member in to do that part. It's surprisingly upbeat in places.
As usual, the longer tracks are the highlights. I'd love a
TYG album that's one epic track; they do lengthy songs in this genre better than anyone else I've heard.
