METALLICA / The $5.98 E.P: Garage Days Re-Revisited (1987)

The BEST damn thing Metallica ever made, and it's all covers of other people's songs! Permission to chuckle: granted.
It was the first release to feature Jason Newsted, who had the almost impossible task of filling Cliff Burton's shoes. He brought his own shoes.

Songs of Note: The WaitLast Caress/Green Hell

5 crash courses out of 5

XD First Metallica on The Suite.

This Nut doesn't really follow through with "No infringement was intended...unless you're Lars Ulrich. Then we meant every nasty thing we said and did to your "hard" work."

Been meaning to do the first 5 albums for awhile. Already knew the exact ratings I'd give them all too.

Lars isn't safe yet. There's plenty of nasty to be said about everything after ...And Justice for All. :169:

I thought about skipping this and doing Garage Inc but the EP in this form is associated with some great memories so I wanted it to have its own post. Guilty pleasure.
