50 years after his first record and 35 albums later, poetical songwriter Bob Dylan is still going strong on 2012's Tempest.
Channelling the old-timey blues n' boogies, Dylan swaggers on in with his scraggy, yet finely tuned voice and bleakly humorous and honest lyrics. Being one of modern music's master storytellers, Dylan tackles several cheerful subjects such as death, more death and then a little more death all while lamenting and honoring what humanity means to him.
Several songs run a bit too long to remain interesting but in the end you're still left with a might fine record that proves this old-timer still has some more records in him.
